Abstract

Abstract

Our recent accomplishments in the development and application of cholesteric glassy liquid crystals, Ch-GLCs, are appraised for circular polarization with adjustable spectral region and bandwidth. Micron-thick Ch-GLC films are a prime candidate for the fabrication of one-way circular polarizers in support of color day camera.
