Session Description
The Goal of this initiative is to enable cardiologists and other cardiovascular clinicians to effectively leverage RWD and RWE through the delivery of quality patient care. To accomplish this, cardiovascular health care professionals should know the terminology and essentials of statistical interpretation, appreciate strategies for understanding the validity RWD being leveraged, be able to discuss advantages and limitation of methodological approaches to study designs, and integrate strategies for appropriately interpreting and applying, in practice, results in ways that positively impact patient outcomes.
The primary target audience for Solving Real World Problems with Real World Evidence: Learning to Leverage Everyday Data to Improve Patient Care is cardiovascular physicians and the secondary target audience is the cardiac care team, particularly nurse practitioners, physician assistants and pharmacists
