Abstract

In this session, we will discuss the development, implementation, and evaluation of an app designed to improve the mental health and wellness of medical students. The primary goal of our app is to reduce shame and stigma surrounding mental health and to increase engagement with available resources. The app also aims to increase resiliency and overall wellness, which could help combat the increased rates of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation among our students. We will discuss how we created content, implemented, optimized and evaluated the performance of this app and its content by quantitatively and qualitatively measuring its effect on our students.
