The Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA) Level 1, the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Self-Assessment Examination (COMSAE) Phase 1, and the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Achievement Test Foundational Biomedical Sciences Comprehensive Examination (COMAT-FBS) were constructed from similar test blueprints and measure test takers’ knowledge in foundational biomedical sciences. The current study aimed to evaluate the convergent validity of the examinations through correlational analysis. Further, the study aimed to investigate the predictive relationship between COMAT FBS/COMSAE Phase 1 and COMLEX-USA Level 1 scores. Using data collected from 2018 to 2019 administrations, the study found statistically significant (p<.001) correlations of .61 to .73 among the examinations. Regression analysis results suggested that COMAT FBS/COMSAE Phase 1 scores as well as the time gap between the COMAT FBS/COMSAE Phase 1 and COMLEX-USA Level 1 test dates were strong predictors of COMLEX-USA Level 1 scores.
