The Academy for College and Career Exploration (ACCE) serves both middle and high school grades in a newly renovated school building in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood. As part of the ""100% Project,"" the school works with a small group of other schools to improve outcomes for students with resources from the state's School Improvement Grant. ACCE prepares students to make informed choices by providing exploratory experiences in a variety of careers. Frequent college visits, dual enrollment, early college institute, and a student internship program provide students with valuable experiences in the fields of their choice.

Baltimore Design School provides a unique educational experience for budding creatives and problem solvers. Our rigorous design program is recognized for its unique approach to learning in which middle school students get a solid foundation of design and studio skills followed by intensive academics and design study in high school. High school students choose and follow a four-year design curriculum in one of three tracks: architecture/construction design and management, graphic design/interactive media production, or fashion design. Each track includes a foundation freshman year followed by three years of CTE programs where students develop college-ready portfolios and receive career training. Partnerships with local colleges ensure that students who are serious about pursuing a career in their perspective fields are well prepared for the rigorous demands of college programs. Graduates of BDS have gone on to some of the top college programs in the area.

Baltimore International Academy West opened in the 2019-20 school year, serving students in pre-k, kindergarten, and 6th grade. For the 2020-21 school year, it will also serve 7th grade and will ultimately serve students from pre-k to 8th grade, offering full immersion in the elementary grades and partial immersion in the middle grades. Like Baltimore International Academy, the new school will offer Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and French language tracks. Through a partnership with Bard College, students at Bard High School Early College earn both a high school diploma and up to 60 transferable college credits and an associate in arts degree in four years. BHSEC provides a rigorous course of study that emphasizes critical thinking through writing, discussion, and inquiry. The school seeks to intellectually engage a diverse group of motivated high school students and prepare them for success in college and beyond. The curriculum is composed of a two-year college preparatory sequence in the 9th and 10th grades that segues directly into a two-year college course of study in place of the traditional 11th and 12th grades. BHSEC faculty members are experienced college professors. The Board of School Commissioners is delaying the vote until 2/25 for recommendations to renew the school charter for Bard.
