Transforming Evaluation: Collaborative Faculty Development Drives Improvement

In this session, participants will discover how the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM) addressed the challenges to effective faculty development (FD) in undergraduate medical education by re-designing a FD program to provide evidence-informed and experiential learning for faculty through a longitudinal, more relevant, and holistic approach. To determine the impact of the program, modified Kirkpatrick’s levels of outcome will be measured subjectively and objectively at the individual and institutional levels.
