In this session, the presenter will review grit, self-efficacy, and intolerance of uncertainty and their impact on academic development and overall well-being. The presenter will share data from a large cross-sectional survey study comparing differences in grit, self-efficacy, and intolerance of uncertainty by first-generation and non-first-generation status, students with and without physician relative(s), gender identity, and underrepresented minority and majority students.
