Abstract

Medical education is ever evolving and our modalities to deliver this information must adjust to this evolution. By utilizing a streamlined clinical skills experience, housed within a one-month mandatory rotation prior to clinical rotations, the entire PCOM OMS-III class was able to have direct standardized assessment and one-on-one debrief sessions with minimal faculty demands as it pertains to EPAs #1-5. Following review of this information, the medical educator will become more familiar with additional modalities to deliver and assess difficult topics, like EPAs #1-5 to their leaners. Furthermore, he or she will have the framework to create, duplicate, or modify this curriculum at his or her respective institution.
